The aim of this simple site is to give you detailed information about the specialities of Hungarian wildlife, whether you have already visited the country and get confused by some identification issues or you are just planning a holiday here and would like to get informed and prepared. I am a middle-aged birder, who sometimes just prefers to consider himself an old-fashioned bird-watcher, enjoying birds and wildlife just as they are in a relaxed way, and not getting too anxious about ID minutiae.
