About me

Introduction	I'm a full-time mom, nurse, wife, housekeeper and cook. When I'm not at home taking care of my beautiful daughter, I'm working part-time as a pediatric nurse practitioner in a primary care practice. My husband, Nathan and I have been together since high school, and have just started this crazy chapter of our lives called parenting. It is a wild and beautiful ride to say the least! Our sweet girl was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at 2 weeks of age after her newborn screening test detected the abnormality. Dealing with the reality of her illness can still be trying at times but we rely on our faith in God to help us through. We work hard every day to manage her illness and take the best care of her possible. I use this blog to share all the joys of motherhood and what I am learning as a mom to a child with CF. And since writing is very therapeutic for me, it is a great way for me to clear my head!
