Introduction	About Lena... 30 years of self-proclaiming to never marry or have kids, then God pulled a “yeah right” and crossed my path with a friend from hs who convinced me to do both. Bret is far more likable than I could ever be, and his humor is wonderfully ridiculous. We married in 2007, and although I told him the no-kids rule, he tricked me... kidding! In 2010 we were blessed with our beautiful daughter. Elle is simply enchanting, which is why this blog will revolve around her. (Oh no, another blog from a Mom about her kid? Yep.) Although my career takes a lot of hours out of my week, a wise friend/another working Mommy once told me that quality, not quantity, is most important! (Of course, I was returning to work from maternity leave at the time and feeling utterly broken so she was probably just trying to make me feel better.) But I truly believe her and work to ensure that Elle will not miss out on anything! I can do anything the stay-at-homes can do... well, almost. Okay, probably not - the ones I know can seriously do anything and really, really well. They’re like superwoman without the inappropriate short skirt. But I'm trying.
