| Introduction | This blog is about surviving chronic pain and nurturing dreams. I offer my insights from years of being probed more than an alien abductee and how some doctors have ventured into the twilight zone. If you ever thought you were crazy wait until you meet the doctor who knows everything. God can't teach him. You will hear about that doctor from me because you need to know that he is out there. But this blog is not about "him". It is about the poetry of life and how that poetry is still being written in your life and mine even when your life feels like an endless antiacid commercial. This blog is not a pep talk or some "Ra Ra" chant for "positive" thinking. I am here to challenge "conventional" thinking about pain patients. I'm not going to tell you how to feel. I'm just going to put this big technicolor bus into gear and drive. It's up to you wether you want to stick your middle finger out the window or wave or smile. I do hope you enjoy the ride. |
