Introduction I've had about 10yrs. of customer service primarily in the retail industry. So it grinds my gears when companies state how amazing their customer service is and can't back that claim up. My view is that in this economy a company has to have the best customer service out there and become more competitive with it's desire to maintain sales, by hiring those who will go above and beyond and fire those who won't even do their job. The first thing I notice when I walk into a store is how long it takes to be greeted and whether or not the associates are friendly and assisting customers. When I call a customer service hotline, I expect a friendly tone and for you to listen.
