| Introduction | Dr. Cmar received his MD from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, OH. He completed residency training in Internal Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University/Sinai Hospital of Baltimore program, where he subsequently served as Chief Resident. His fellowship training in Infectious Diseases was done at the George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, DC. Now back at Sinai, Dr. Cmar practices clinically in the specialties of Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine, as well as serving as an Associate Program Director for the JHU/Sinai Internal medicine Residency Program.
Dr. Cmar is interested in all areas of Infectious Diseases, including HIV, influenza, and Lyme Disease. His other areas of focus include science-based medicine, critical thinking, and the portrayal of medical issues in the media. |
