| Introduction | I'm a busy working mom looking to save a few bucks (ok, more than a few!). I've got a beautiful little girl, K., and a very sweet and very nerdy husband. I try to save on everything, but most often post about groceries. On average I probably save 40% each week, not including purchasing the store brand instead of the name brands when that is cheaper. ________________________ NOTE TO NEW FOLLOWERS - It's probably a good idea to go into my archives and read the post entitled "The Updated Grocery Store Savings Post" from October of 2009 before reading my weekly grocery store shopping posts. It explains sale and coupon rules - sometimes it's good to re-read this if you have already read it as a refresher anyway! I've been doing this for a while now, but still don't consider myself an expert or "varsity" shopper as the Coupon Mom would call it, so I am always I'm open to comments, corrections, and questions! |
