Introduction	I am the owner/operator of an at-home group family childcare program. My business has been in operation since 2004. I am licensed by the State of New York and certified to dispense medications. Personally, I am married and the mother of two children. Molly is my 13 year old daughter and Ryan is my 10 year old son. My children have active lives but they also love being involved with the children in my program. Prior to opening my doors as a childcare provider, I worked as a Master's level social worker for the Community Hospice. I worked there for 12 years and interacted on many different levels with various families. Working with children who were facing a very difficult time in their lives was a particular interest of mine. The skills I acquired in working with those children serve me well each day at the daycare. My husband, Bill is a teacher at Watervliet High School. He is often present in the afternoons or over school breaks. He is usually greeted with a resounding "Mr. Bill"!
