Introduction My first degree, BA Marketing – Languages, not only thought me the basic principles of marketing and how they should be applied, but also the ability to speak four languages. During my third year of the course, I went for five months to the Republic of Ireland, to the famous Institute of Waterford Marketing Department. This enabled me to get to know the UK market. I also did an internship that year with a pharmaceutical company where I evaluated and improved their communication process. An additional BA, Marketing – Communication, focused on how Marketing and Communication should be combined. I had a second internship, where I did research on how e-government on a local level could be improved. This year, I am currently at the University of Coventry where I study for an MA Advertising and Marketing. Not only does this give me the opportunity to further broaden my experience, this also enables me to look closer at the UK market and gain additional experience. In 2008 I worked during five months as a Marketing - Assistant for Donaldson Europe. Together with a group of other marketers, I was responsible for organising marketing activities in Europe, Asia and the Middle-East.
