| Introduction | Phil is a 23 year old licensed hypnotherapist from London who never learned how to cook growing up. Until he met his wife, Alyson, his relationship with food hardly ventured beyond functionality. Alyson is a 24 year old American art school drop-out currently training to be a nurse and midwife. Being Jewish, a passion for food was instilled in her from a very young age; her Romanian grandmother being her biggest influence. Alyson's love for all things yummy has rubbed off on Phil, opening his eyes to what all foodies know to be true: eating is one of the great joys of life. This blog is a space for Phil to chronicle his adventures in learning how to cook and bake. While he's busy trying to make something delicious without burning the house down, Alyson will write reviews of Edinburgh's wide variety of eateries. |
