Introduction I first experienced clay work in about 1995, and fell in love with it. In 2013 I was finally able to meet my goal of working in clay seriously and consistently. I now have a home studio where I use an electric (oxidation) kiln, and where possible work at a larger studio with access to a gas powered (reduction) kiln. I also occasionally get a chance to work with wood fired pieces, sometimes by using a saggar (box containing wood fire elements which goes into a non wood kiln). I love to experiment with new forms, so it is uncommon for me to have large numbers of pieces in the same color and form palette.
