IntroductionAs a young boy growing up in Iowa, Jared, a.k.a. "Doppler, Dop-Dog" wanted nothing more than to be a young boy growing up not in Iowa. At the tender age of 18, Dop left the nest to attend college at the University of Tulsa, chosen because it was and is "America's Favorite University" (Forbes Magazine, "America's Favorite Schools" special editions 1989-2005). Through school Dop spent his summers as a herb farm boy, burger flipper, and then burger flipper supervisor, when his gaze was captured on one very special point to the northwest - Alaska. By the time May rolled, around, he'd decided to meet that dream half-way, taking a job at Camp Perkins in Idaho. There, he met Stormy, also from Tulsa. By the end of camp, Dop had tricked Stormy into dating him. In December 2004, he took a job as a staff writer in Lawton, Okla. (a holding pen as Stormy finishes school) and by September of 2005, he'd closed the deal. Soon, she'll drag him off to the east coast where they'll live happily ever after with Lucy the Dog. The end.
