| Introduction | I am the proud mother of three wonderful young ladies. I'm also a grandmother. You will meet them through my pages. I love scrapbooking and started stamping thanks to Close to My Heart. I'm happy to share some of my work and expect to learn from all of you. I have been taking pictures since I was 16 when I received my first camera as a high school graduation gift from my parents. I've been in love with taking pictures since then. As my daughter Jessica told me recently, "Mami, you have our life documented in pictures". I have thousands of pictures: my parents, daughters, granddaughter, sister and brother, nephews, friends, relatives, even my dogs!! Now, as a Close to My Heart scrapbooker, I have the pleasure of using my first hobby and my favorite pictures to create the most wonderful layouts, cards and gifts. I can also document how important the relationships I have built throghout the years are and how much they mean to me. "Gifts from the heart are not bought, they are made (scrapbooked)". |
