| Introduction | I'm the retired public safety director of Lincoln. I became a police officer here in 1974, and except for a seven year detour to the Sheriff's Office, this is where I've been. I was the police chief from 1994 to 2011, when I assumed management responsibility for police, fire, and 911. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Tonja, and I have two adult children, Kelly and T.J., who make me very proud and provide me with one granddog and six grandchildren. In retirement, I enjoy cooking, bicycling, reading history, golfing, and engaging in continuous attempts at home repair and improvement. Life is good with a fulfilling career, supportive family, great friends, good health, and plenty to do! |
