Introduction	I spent my formative years in Durban later moving to Pretoria where I am still based today. My working life started with Protea Hotels in the food and beverage department, later qualified as a chef and spent many years working all over South Africa in a variety of restaurants and hotels. My love for aviation was born at a very young age watching the activity at first at Virginia Airport and later Waterkloof Airforce Base, this passion has never died and I hope to share it with you here. I am a member of "The Harvard Club of South Africa" and "The Friends of the South African Airforce Museum".
