| Introduction | I am a 20-something female who works in between attending college. I most enjoy reading, watching movies, listening to music, and playing video games. Aside from the activities that don't induce a high heart rate, I miss experiencing: yoga, weight lifting, running, camping, and being in the Hawaiian ocean. |
| Interests | languages- be it talking about languages with others to actually learning more about it in the classroom. I take a fond interest in: French, German, Japanese, Russian, and Arabic; art- I miss being in school and going to the art museums. My favorite periods (and, if in addition to, artists from said period)are: Baroque- Peter Paul Rubens, Gianlorenzo Bernini; Baroque and Neo-Classicism- Nicolas Poussin; overall, the Italian Renaissance, Mannerism, Baroque, Rococo, or Neo-Classicism periods; Pre-Raphealite Brotherhood- John William Waterhouse; Impressionists- Mary Cassatt, Jon Singer Sargent, Berthe Morisot, Edouard Manet, Pierre Auguste Renoir, Paul Cezanne, Edgar Degas, Art Nouveau as a whole with an emphasis in Modernism Art Nouveau and architect Casa Batllo being the reason; Surrealism- Rene Magritte, Social Realism- Ilya Repin; Abstract Expressionism, and most Outsider art. music- Because there are so many artists I like from several different genres, I will simply divulge what genres I like the best. I like death metal, gothic metal, aggrotech, industrial rock, electronic, big beat, and experimental, singer songwriter, indie-pop- or, to some people, tween; new wave, synth pop, new romantic, and post-punk. |
