| Introduction | Once upon a time a boy and a girl met at a beautiful ranch in Estes Park, Colorado. They talked about many things, but often it was about Africa: one had been, and the other was going. Now, 7 years and three children later, they call Uganda "home." Shawn manages a farm that helps feed several hundred orphaned children and helps to promote sustainable agricultural practices. Courtney manages the home and teaches Literature part-time in the secondary school. Together we join the rest of our community and help parent the children in our midst. |
| Interests | Shawn: guitar/music/creativity, sustainability (agriculture), learning, my wonderful family, current events (not in that order). Courtney: books, nourishing foods, nature, photography, writing, Waldorf, my family (also not in that order). And we are both passionate about adoption! |
