| Introduction | My name is Lynnea West. I have been in the teaching profession for almost eight years. Before that, I did my undergraduate work at St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI. I majored in International Studies and I have a minor in French. I finished my Masters of Arts in Teaching at the University of St.Thomas. I have always enjoyed teaching and learning, especially in my previous positions as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mali, West Africa and working as a project coordinator at Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Minneapolis. I am married to Stephen, another educator. We run a staff development program for teachers called West's Direction. www.westsdirection.com We have two beautiful daughters, Maya, age 6 and Peyton who is 4. They keep us awfully busy with their Spanish Immersion School, gymnastics classes, swimming lessons and many play dates. |
