Introduction	What ho, internet! As you may have already, and quite astutely guessed, I'm Matthew and denizen of that happy place known as England. I'm a vintage enthusiast, with a love for the first half of the twentieth century in particular. Everything from clothes to lifestyle has piqued my interest and so I buy the clothes, records and articles of everyday life whenever I've got l'argent available. Really, it's everything about the era - even the truly difficult horrible bits that strikes me. In line with all this, I'm a keen fan of 'Jeeves and Wooster', and have every episode on DVD (whoopee), as well as 'Brideshead Revisited', which I need to read at some point. If asked who my role models for the period are... Fred Astaire and Bing Crosby and the inimitable Churchill are well and truly up there.
