| Introduction | My name is Kathy Griffin and I am a professional development speaker and early childhood consultant. I have 15 years teaching experience (9 years teaching kindergarten - 4 were multiage Pre-K/K, 3 years in 2nd, and 3 years in first). I am a National Board Certified Teacher (EC-Gen) and have a BSED in Early Childhood Education. I also have my MSED in Teaching, Learning, & Leadership/Special Education. I speak at state and national conferences and present for Staff Development for Educators. I am passionate about bringing the Common Core Standards to the early childhood classroom in a developmentally appropriate way and to empower teachers with the necessary tools to implement them. I love teaching reading, differentiating instruction, and am a big Smart Board fan! I hope my blog inspires you and supports you on your journey of making a HUGE impact in the lives of children.
