Introduction I have over 20 years of experience, mainly in healthcare and higher education construction management. I am currently the director of CIP Construction Services at UT Southwestern Medical Center. At UT Southwestern, I oversee CIP which includes laboratory research facilities and healthcare capital projects. Prior to my current position at UT Southwestern Medical Center, I was the Director of Construction for Mount Sinai Medical Center and Miami Heart Institute in Miami, FL. While at Mt. Sinai I was responsible for managing all the renovations, infrastructure upgrades, and planning of a new patient tower and implemented an electronic construction software to account for over $100 million in capital improvements. From 1991 – 2001, I was with the University of Miami Hospital and Sylvester Cancer Center where I was the facilities director and safety officer. I hold a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Miami as well as a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Florida International University. I am also a Certified General Contractor in the State of Florida.
