Introduction If you're at my blog, you probably already know a lot about me. What you might not know... I am a grandmother of 6 and a mother of 9. I am an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently attend the 5th ward of the St. George Utah East Stake. I serve as the Relief Society President with some amazing support from all of my ward members as well as my presidency! Our son, Taylor, just returned from an LDS mission to Indiana. Our son, Trent, remains on his mission in Oklahoma until June 2011. My nephew Joseph is currently serving a mission in Paraguay until December 2011. Needless to say, we love hearing missionary stories!! I teach nursing full-time as my occupation which is something I had wanted to do since I was in the sixth grade. Yes...that's right, my goal in the sixth grade was to grow up to be a "nurse teacher". I wanted to be a nurse because I liked to help people and I wanted to be a teacher because I liked to help people learn so I decided the perfect job for me was "nurse teacher". Lucky me I get to do what I always hoped I would be able to do!
Interests Reading, playing the piano, crocheting, singing, playing with grandkids, laughing, going to church, studying my scriptures with the exception of the Old Testament, rock hunting, baking, and anything that has nothing to do with cleaning house!
Favorite Movies What About Bob?, KPAX, Lorenzos Oil, Big, all the Disney movies old and new, musicals like the Sound of Music and South Pacific, Gone With the Wind, and anything with Dustin Hoffman in it
Favorite Music anything I can play on the piano or sing to or that Tony can play on his guitar or sing to
Favorite Books I love to read!! I read constantly. I love the Book of Mormon and I totally don't enjoy the Old Testament. Other than that...if I like it, I read it!If I don't I donate it to a thrift store or send back to the library.
