| Introduction | Hi and welcome to my blog. As with many people interested in art, I'm a nature lover at heart and over the past 30 yrs. have sought to express that appreciation in photography and painting. During summer months I love to go hiking, usually in State parks in the Poconos as well as spending time down the New Jersy shore. These outings provide me with hundreds of photo references. I'm forever chasing sunsets and as so many others, am captivated by beautiful cloud formations. I also look forward to every change of season as it brings with it bold beautiful color, and water scenes have a magic of their own. Indoors,I try to recreate some of those initial impressions through my artwork. For me, it's more about the process and joy I get from experimenting in paint. Painting gives me a feeling of being in sync with nature, now part of the creation, not just an observer. If you'd like to take a quick nature hike, please check out my photo links below.
