| Introduction | I'm a critical care nurse at heart; however, after 20 years, I abandoned the uniform and stethoscope for nights of sleep, flexible work hours, and weekends and holidays at home with family. After a brief stint in infection control (interesting, but bean counting isn't for me) and much soul searching, I decided publishing was the perfect compromise for me. However despite accomplishments in nursing, my proudest accomplishment is being mom to three incredibly unique children (well I guess 2 in college and 1 in high school means they aren't children any more, but...) who inspire me and teach me every day. |
