Introduction SULEIMAN is an architect, researcher and artist. He is a Computational Design Consultant at HASSELL where he is leading Computational Design. He taught before at the University of Melbourne in the Master of Architecture degree program and at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. Suleiman founded “Mutation Studio” in 2008; a studio dedicated to architectural design experiments. In 2013 he co-founded O(n) Studio as a design-based studio which explores the use of new technology in architecture design, design workflows and computational design strategies. Suleiman worked previously as an architect with COOP HIMMELB(L)AU Vienna, Austria, before which he worked with Laceco international. He has practiced architecture in Australia, Europe and the Middle East. His work has been awarded, exhibited and published in Australia, Italy, Portugal, France, Jordan, China, Hong Kong, Korea and the UK. His current research interests include architecture design strategies, digital architecture, BIM technologies, and deployable complex kit-of-parts, interactive built environment, and fabrication technologies.
