| Introduction | Chris Trumbauer grew up in Chestertown on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. He has lived in Anne Arundel County since 1997.Chris received a Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry from University of Maryland – College Park. After working several years for a small water treatment business in Baltimore, he was hired by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) in 1999. At DNR he ran a water quality monitoring program which assessed the Chesapeake Bay and its numerous rivers and streams. From 2008 - 2013, Chris was the West/Rhode Riverkeeper, where he was a leading advocate for the health of Anne Arundel County Rivers. Since November, 2013, he has been the Director of State and Environmental Initiatives at The Hatcher Group, a communications firm. Chris has been involved with numerous civic organizations is also a graduate of the Leadership Anne Arundel Flagship program. Chris lives in Annapolis with his wife Mary and two children. |
