| Introduction | Before I went into the culinary world, I was in finance, as an Associate Director of Administration for Columbia Records, CBS for 15 years. Got to meet a lot of artist,attended unaccountable number of concerts-plus travel, it was a great gig! The big CBS layoff of 1983. Here I am 43 years old and out of work for the first time in my life. My brother Tony suggested I maybe change my career, and check out the culinary world. I did grow up in Brooklyn, and spent my teens in my parents Italian Pizzeria- I was not thrilled. Decided to take my brothers advice and enrolled in the New York Restaurant School to get my feet wet. Started out as a Food Chef, and decided, pastries were my thing. I now have been doing this for the last two decades. I still love and receive a lot of joy from my efforts And now I am in my "fourth" career- I am a proud member of SAG/AFTRA making movies and TV show- also print. I am very blessed, with wonderful careers to fill my life with joy and purpose |
