| Introduction | Kara has been married to her best friend David since September of 2002. Together with their children, they live in their own little piece of paradise in Florida. They have three sons and two daughters, all through the gift of adoption...as well as numerous children through their foster care ministry. Kara believes that fostering is a calling from God and knows that He has blessed her family abundantly through it. :) Besides loving on children and serving in her church home, Kara also enjoys reading and creative writing in her spare time (what little of it she has!). Kara also homeschools her oldest child (and plans to homeschool the others when she finishes her graduate program). As a former teacher, Kara says homeschooling gives her the opportunity to enjoy all the things she loved about teaching without having to deal with the things she liked least about the profession! |
