| Introduction | I am a writer working on my first novel, What We Let Go. I write literary fiction, short stories, travel stories and poetry. I am an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher at Colorado State University. My career has allowed me to live in Chile and Honduras as well as travel to over 40 countries and all seven continents. Traveling is a huge passion of mine and while I reside stateside at the moment my heart is often wandering new places in am attempt to find its home. I have made my bodily home in Fort Collins, Colorado where I live with my two cats, Pisco and Hairy. I enjoy SCUBA diving, traveling (of course) reading novels,writing words, creating new words- I often feel limited by my language and have therefore been learning Spanish for the past few years in an attempt to learn new words with which to write. I also enjoy Flor De Cana rum, the occasional Piscola and a sunny deck with good friends. This blog is my first attempt at a pillow book, A pillow book is meant to be a book (or blog) of observations and musings. So here it is, my thoughts and ideas about the everyday with probably a focus on my thoughts on my travels. |
