Introduction	John Mullins is a former Green Beret. He did three combat tours in Vietnam and operational missions throughout the world. After retirement from the military he continued in the field, at various times having worked for the Department of Defense, the Department of Justice, other government agencies (OGAs), and numerous corporate and personal customers. He is a published author with three novels and one non-fiction work, as well as many magazine articles. He was a consultant to Activision in the development of the Soldier of Fortune videogames, and was the model for the main character. He continues to work in security operations, weapons and ballistics, and tactics.
