| Introduction | Never in a million years did I see myself as a single mom, living in the suburbs. I was supposed to be living in a loft on the edge of realilty somewhere. However, raising 2 kids, working full time and just keeping up with life is an adventure in its own right. Cast of Characters: The Big One - Teenaged daughter. She's beautiful, talented and starts high school in the fall. In the words of Maria Von Trapp, "Oh, help." The Little One - Number Two Daughter. She's got a little bit of Eloise and The Great Brain in her. The Husband - We reconnected on FaceBook, 30 years after we attended summer camp together. Oprah, if you're interested, it's a good story. The Neurotic Dog - Dog we adopted four years ago. Part catahoula, part mental patient. The Almost Feral Cat - Cat we adopted five years ago. The best behaved mammal in the house. |
