Introduction	Former Air Traffic Controller, Commercial Helicopter Pilot, Firefighter. I am a novice cyclist who discovered that biking is the answer to my need for low-impact aerobic exercise to compensate for my inability to walk and hike the way I used to due to less-than-successful back surgery that resulted in 3 vertebrae being fused.
