| Introduction | Welcome to Ms. Spiering's blog! I graduated from the University of Iowa with my Master's degree in Library and Information Science in 2012 and am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Language, Literacy and Culture from the University of Iowa College of Education. I work as the teacher librarian at Northwest Junior High in Coralville, Iowa. Sometimes when students forget my name I get called "library lady", and that is how my blog got its title. In my free time I love to run, bike, travel, visit coffee shops and, of course, read good books. I have spent some time traveling to different parts of Africa, Central America, South America and Europe and my favorite books take place in different countries. I also love to talk about books and recommend them, so please come see me if you read something interesting or need a suggestion! |
