Introduction Cindy Baer is an acclaimed director, producer, actress, and founder of the California nonprofit company Patron of the Arts. She has directed and produced two critically acclaimed feature films and several shorts. Her debut feature PURGATORY HOUSE screened at over 25 film festivals, won 12 film festival awards (including top honors of "Best Director", "Best Film" and "Audience Choice" Awards), 2 PRISM Award Nominations, and was included on 5 critics' lists for "Best Films of the Year" before securing distribution with Image Entertainment. Cindy also produced, directed and starred in the short comedy MORBID CURIOSITY which screened at 28 film festivals and won 4 Audience Awards. Cindy is currently on the festival circuit with her award-winning second feature ODD BRODSKY, which she co-wrote with her cinematographer husband Matthew Irving. It has screened at 26 festivals and won 6 festival awards as of this writing.
