Introduction Hi I’m Traci and this blog is about my family. I’m married to the best husband in the world and have two beautiful daughter who are the joy of my life. Paul and I have been married for 9 years. This blog is mostly about our daughter's Melissa and Makayla but every now and then I will post something other than the girl's. I started this blog when I found out I was pregnant with Melissa. I thought this would be an easy way for our family and friends to keep up with us. I also want this blog to be more than keeping up with us, but to help get the word out about Cystic Fibrosis. Melissa and Makayla both have Cystic Fibrosis (CF). Cystic fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States (70,000 worldwide). A defective gene and its protein product cause the body to produce unusually thick, sticky mucus that: Clogs the lungs and leads to life-threatening lung infections; and Obstructs the pancreas and stops natural enzymes from helping the body break down and absorb food. With all that said, I hope you will keep up with us.
