| Introduction | Grew up amidst the chaos of the late '60s, early '70s, lived part of that time in communal environments, as well as several years with no electricity. Dropped out of school when I was 7, did not return until I was 12. Published a comic book when I was 16, moved to Seattle when I was 20. Ended up playing in bands for about 9 years (Skin Yard, Ten Minute Warning, etc...), ran (and still own) C/Z records for 15 years, a Seattle-based label that released early material from Melvins, Nirvana, Built to Spill, 7 Year Bitch, The Gits, Silkworm and a host of other artists. Moved to L.A. in 2003, where I oversaw the development and creation of www.DownloadPunk.com before leaving. I created and launched www.RocknRollDating.com on Valentine's Day, 2009. |
