| Introduction | I am originally from Atlanta, GA and moved to Asheville, NC in 2009 in pursuit of a slower pace of life and a place that fosters my creativity. My passion is art. I create with watercolors, Sharpies, acrylic paints, collage/jewelry supplies, my digital camera. I write poetry, children's stories, and of course I like to blog. I also work with children. I am a nanny in addition to an artist. I have a wonderful apartment downstairs in a home belonging to two amazing people, I have an awesome church family, amazing arts community. I have two cats - Ginger- my "special needs" cat. She has diabetes, meows a lot, but I love her. Starla Ruby is my black and white cuddly cat. She sleeps on my legs every night. Both kitties love watching birdies outside the window, and chasing each other around the sofa. My favorite colors are purple, blue and silver, my favorite cuisine is Thai.
