| Introduction | Sasha Faint is no faint heart when it comes to the art of sewing. After buying a sewing machine on a whim and following up the purchase with courses in sewing, pattern making and design, she has reinvented herself from English language teacher to creative designer for her handmade bags and workshops business, Faint Impressions. At an early age, Sasha had a loving relationship with home sewing - as a child her mother made her ‘very cool’ outfits and is a quilting addict. Her mother’s flare, good advice and love of fabrics has gone a long way to hone her daughter’s passion and creativity for the craft. While Sasha firmly believes anyone can learn to sew, her teaching background brings the skills required to impart the knowledge and to structure the workshop sessions. Sasha enjoys sharing her expertise with others keen to learn the craft of sewing. She hopes the workshops will inspire others to find their creative passion. |
