| Introduction | I am a stay at home momma to twin toddlers and a 6 year old. I am also the wife of a farmer/fireman. Needless to say, we eat, A LOT! By no means am I a professional chef/baker, but I do love food & enjoy cooking and baking on a daily basis. I have had lots of flops in my kitchen which is probably why I enjoy when a recipe turns out and is actually really tasty! I prefer "REAL" food. Fresh fruits and vegetables, butter, and sugar to name a few. We are fortunate to have access a lot of local foods. My father-in-law and husband raise beef and the neighbors a few miles away have fresh eggs and we grow a lot of our own vegetables. It's a good thing we enjoy this, because it is very time consuming. We live in rural Ohio in the middle of nowhere, literally! We do have one neighbor on our road, yes I said one. Growing up, I lived in a large city, so getting married and moving to the country was a huge change. At first I wasn't sure, but now wouldn't ever change. We are blessed to live in such a beautiful (and flat) location! I hope you enjoy the ramblings and recipes that are apart of our lives. Thanks for stopping by! |
