| Introduction | I am a self-professed city-hater who has moved to Toronto for the sake of a magazine internship, a year-long post-grad certificate in publishing, and - I admit it - to finally be near a certain young man. I grumble about it, but I don't mind discovering the city's high points. I love finding beauty in things and people. I hate waste, and want to make the world wake up and realize "reduce" is the most important "R," but "reuse" is a particular friend of mine, too. I am almost too much in love with patchwork quilts, buttons and lace. I believe fiercely in the ministry of the Presbyterian camp where I have worked many past summers. I am learning to call myself a poet without blushing. |
