Introduction#2 of 8 pretty lil farm kids from a small minnesota town...raised irish/catholic in the all-american dysfunctional family...why not!... my teenage angst was riddled with confusion...seclusion... and fantastic desperation grow'n up as an alter boy in some brain washed apocalyptic religion that would try to teach me the slings and arrows of an imperfect world thru plagiaristic writings…while i taught myself which base...lip gloss and eyeliner went best with my aura...but i learned a hard lesson in unwanted love when i never got to cash in like all the other lucky fuckers years later... now i'm just an alter'd "boy" from time to time... fer the right dime!... Krystal Kleer (my alter'd ego and saving grace)...was born feb 3rd, 1995 and though she knows more tricks than a rodeo clown...she... like me...listened to Nancy in the 80's when she said "just say no!"... if i wanna get high...i'll add another inch to my heels... i am a naturally born non heterosexual...who keeps an open mind to those struggling with their own "issues"... for i have read most of mine and cancelled my subscription to them a looong time ago...by keep'n my expectations low...and my heels high!
Interestsa perform'n illusionist with a sensitive side for the amazingly bizzarre...an eye for anything remotely artistically done...up to and include'n photography... fashion and interior design...mixed cd's with a theme...road trips on someone else's budget...from walks in the graveyards to the gardens of earthly delights
Favorite movies"PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESSERT"... "MURIEL'S WEDDING" and "WITHOUT YOU I'M NOTHING" can pretty much be recited word for word at this point...but anything Toni Collette can throw herself into is worth a watch...as well as Parker Posie...Johnny Depp and Colin Farrell round it out for the boys...indies are my fav-o-rit "Shortbus" and "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" being thee best to date...tear jerkers like "Terms of Endearment" or "Mask" are always good for a rainy nite alone...but nothing can beat musicals like the original John Waters "Hairspray" or "Rocky Horror Picture Show"...horror movies like "Texas Chainsaw the Beginning" or the remake of "the Amittyville Horror" with Ryan Reynolds(grrr)are perfect couch cuddlers...the perfect date movie you ask...ummm..."ONCE" (i seen it twice)...sci-fi classics like "Star Wars" or "Flash Gordon" are always a good time when fold'n the laundry...comedic flicks like "Drop Dead Gorgeous" "WITHOUT YOU I'M NOTHING" or "MEDUSA: DARE to be TRUTHFUL" will keep me in stitches everytime...80's teenage classics like "HEATHERS" "BREAKFAST CLUB" "FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF" and "SIXTEEN CANDLES" are not to be missed and all movies directed by Tim Burton are cinematic eye candies...especially "Sleepy Hollow"..."Pee Wee's Big Adventure" and most recently to date "Alice in Wonderland"...and the bad taste but comically inclined of anything by JOHN WATERS...but let's not forget the documentary genious of one MICHAEL MOORE!!
Favorite musicBoy George on top (of course)...from Madonna to Martika,Cyndi Lauper to Sinead O'connor, Cher to Sade,Eurythmics to Enya,Toni Basil to Tracey Chapman and practically every over-exposed synthasized band in the 80's (well except those dirty over processed hairball bands), from KD Lang to Katy Perry, Dolly Parton to DEE-LITE, 70's disco diva's like Donna Summer (before she "saw the light") and Thelma Houston tell'n us to "don't leave me this waaaay" and anyone else who could pull off a smart bellbottom or skin tight jump suit in platforms, GOSSIP to Goldfrapp, Adam Lambert to Amanda Lepore, Neneh Cherry to Cherry Bikini, Jackie Beat to Julie Brown, Kelly Clarkson to Kylie Minogue, Lady GaGa to Loretta Lynn, Suzanne Vega to Susan Boyle, Marilyn Manson to Marilyn Monroe, Lil Kim to Lil Mama, Prince to PINK, Sandra Bernhard to Stevie Nicks...well...you get the point...if it's got a good beat and you can dance to it...or perform a solo concert in yer car...i'm all over it...don't snatch my head of if yer band ain't mentioned...put it on yer own damn blog then!
Favorite books"take it like a man" by George O'dowd,"check please!" by Janice Dickenson,"cry salty tears" by Dinah O'dowd,"confessions of a pretty lady" by Sandra Bernhard, "where the wild things are" by Maurice Sendak, "the english roses" by Madonna, "freak unique" by Pete Burns, "i am america (and so can you)" by Stephen Colbert, "chocolate please" by Lisa Lampanelli
