| Introduction | Alright, since the website is weird about things, I’m using this space to give comments on all my favorites. First, interests: I write when I can, and when I do it’s almost always SF/F. There are very few Xbox games I play. And I cannot listen to most classical music. Some of it’s OK, but I can’t sit through an opera or symphony if my life depends on it. Movies: I like all the Star Wars movies, including Phantom. I can look past Jar-Jar because I don’t feel the need to whine over everything I don’t like. Plus, I’m a sucker for political intrigue. The same goes for Two Towers: I don’t care about Faramir’s “alteration” or Aragorn falling a cliff. It’s a movie. Get over it. It’s not the books, it’s just close. You want the books made into a movie exactly as they are, you’ve got a hundred hour long borefest. Music: I like those eras with some exceptions (which might change from day to day or station to station. All depends on my mood, I guess). Now, TV, which I lumped with Movies: Watch A.D., for the love of Gob, I mean God. I like both old and new BSG, but I like new a lot better. SG-1 is better than Atlantis. The O.C. is funny and can be smart, plus Peter Gallagher is kinda cool. |
