Introduction	Jessie is a sculptor and mixed media artist from Portland, OR. Before attaining her BFA in sculpture from Pacific Northwest College of Art, she attended the University of Oregon where she studied developmental psychology and Norwegian. After graduating from PNCA Jessie pursued a career in stop-motion animation and gained valuable experience from Portland’s various studios. She now works as an art teacher at an Oregon non-profit. Jessie gains inspiration from processes of decomposition and growth as well as contemplation of the human body and its relationship with nature
