| Introduction | My name is Christina, I live in LA and I have 2 boys, 2 dogs and a great husband. I have a lot of hobbies, but my favorite is and always has been baking! A close second is discovering delicious treats from all over the US. I've been known to order the sweet finds and have them delivered to Robert (my husband) as "gifts". I've sent him everything from gourmet cookies, to s'mores, cupcakes, french macaroons and biscuits. I love to find intersting treats to try in LA too- I recently discovered the POP shop, Lake Street Creamery and Everything Bunt Cakes- all of which were so yummy. I come from a family of bakers and great cooks. I used to host "cooking shows" for my family when I was a kid-I hosted the shows in an English Accent. I made chocolate chip cookies, jello with fruit and my specialty, peanut butter with melted chocolate (to be eaten by spoon). While out on maternity leave with my second baby (Shepard), I dedicated the time not only to him, but also to learn some of the more advanced techniques of baking. I've always wanted to have my own bakery and this is the first step to making it happen. I have a lot to learn, so I decided to document as I go! Wish me luck! |
