Introduction	Life is short. My idea of living is do do as much of it as I can. I want to tell the good news about my community on this blog. I want to recognize many great individuals and events. I want to keep involved with the many events and people in my community. I also want to publish what goes on within our city and county government. With newspapers closing right and left, blogs and other news venues online are very important.
Interests	I have many interests, among which are: creating art, photography, interacting with people, teaching, and learning something new every day. My family is special and supportive. My friends accept me as I am. I am thankful.
Favorite movies	Movies like "Juno," "Charlie Wilson's war," Steel Magnolias," "Men in Black," biographies of artists, famous historical figures, travel docuementaries and "How to..." are included in the mix of what I enjoy watching.
Favorite music	My taste in music is a mix. Classical, rock, heavy metal, reggae, jazz and most anything except rap and some country are included.
Favorite books	"Flat, Tired and Hot" is one of the books I learned much from. Michael Moore's documentaries are most useful. I also enjoy mysteries and adventures along with well-written historical novels.

You're going to the moon! What did you forget to pack?

I went to the moon and when I arrived, I noticed I had left my tote bag behind. Bummer!
