Favorite moviesToo many to list and such variation in topic and quality you'd think I'm not a very discriminating movie viewer. You'd be right.
Favorite musicI don't pay as much attention to music as I used to so this is harder to answer than back in the day when it was always Billy Joel.
Favorite booksToo many to list. Every so often I have to reread James Q. Wilson's "The Moral Sense" or Jared Diamond's "Guns, Germs and Steel" because they are such sweeping works of scholarship. On the other hand, I really enjoyed the Sookie Stackhouse vampire novels. "The Time Traveller's Wife" made me cry. I love Barbara Kingsolver. I've never read "Ulysses" and probably never will. I majored in English.
