Ms. Beverage's Blooming First Grade!

Introduction	Hello! My name is Betsy Beverage and I was born and raised in Lincoln, NE (Go Huskers!). I graduated from the University of Kansas (Go Jayhawks!) with a degree in elementary education. I taught second grade in Missouri for three years before leaving to begin my family. I have five (yes, FIVE!) amazing children and am working on our SIXTH baby who is set to arrive late January. I am not only fortunate enough to be part of the teaching team at Sunflower Elementary, but I am also a parent to my own Sunflower kids. Annie is leaving me this year to begin a new adventure at Wheatridge. My son, Charlie will be in fourth grade, Caroline will be in second grade and Jojo is starting preschool this year! I also have Georgia who is now two and a half, so she is busy growing and walking and talking! I am here to make sure that your child’s learning journey is as exciting, nurturing and successful as I expect my own children’s to be. I am so exicted to be teaching first grade teacher again this year. There really is magic that happens here in first grade. Please don’t hesitate to call or email me with any questions or concerns.
