| Introduction | My name is Anne. I was born in Hamilton, Ontario, but my parents must have some Gypsy blood in there somewhere because we had moved 14 times and lived in 9 different places before I started the 4th grade. It must have been contagious because since I got married I moved 12 times between 1970 and 1991. I was an only child who always wanted a big family. My parents separted when I was 13 and both have since remarried. I now have 1 step-sister, 2 step-brothers and a few years ago I found out I had a half brother who is less than a month younger than I am. I have been married twice. The first time in 1970. After 16 years of both good and bad times we divorced. I remarried 2 years later to my best friend's brother who I had known since he was 13. I have 5 children all from my first marriage. Between the five of them, they have provided me with 15 grand-children (with one more on the way) and 1 great-grandson. Remember I said that I always wanted a big family. Well, I think I got it! I have definately lived a very different life in my 56 years and I know I have a lot to share. |
