Introduction	I am a 21 year old college student with Crohn's Disease and Interstitial Cystitis. I thought about keeping this last fact hidden, but I think it's important to be honest in order to facilitate understanding. One of the most important things I've learned thus far?: Never take for granted your current situation because it can always, always be worse. Also, perhaps more importantly, there will always be people who do not understand. Concentrate your time and energy on the friends and family who do.
