Introduction	I am participating in an adventure of traveling by horseback from Mexico to Canada. This trail ride is hosted by the Best of America by Horseback television show. My horse and I have been preparing to travel 15 miles per day for the next 130 days. We will start from Santa Teresa, NM and cross eastern New Mexico, the high plains of Colorado east of Denver, the panhandle of Nebraska, and western South and North Dakota. The horse I am riding, Ali, is a 13 year old Bay Arabian gelding. I have owned him for nearly 5 years and have been training him for trail riding. We have previously ridden in Tennessee, Illinois, Kansas and several places in Missouri. I will be adding to this blog as we make our way toward Canada.
